Meet your West Nashville partner & operator, Derek! 👋
As a 4-sport athlete, marching band center snare, and valedictorian turned Engineering major, he thought waiting tables would only ever be a great part-time job during busy student years. But the hospitality industry became his passion and career; still all-in now, more than 2 decades later! Derek moved from fine-dining to fast-casual concepts and has managed operations within corporate brands, franchise groups, and start-ups. He leads by example and guides team members to their best performance-capability, individually and collectively. When he’s not in the building, he’s spending quality time with his wife and 4 kids, engaging in church ministries, and enjoying live music. Be sure to say hi when you see Derek at Charlotte Pike!
