My loving grandmother Velma , who was born in 1923, gained her wings on Christmas day ,2022. She was 99 years old . Being born in 1923 , you can imagine how things were and what she endured . She was a wise, Christian woman and always looked to do things right.. I’m still in denial that she is not here with us anymore , but I have a feeling God has made heaven her home . We miss her very much. Im very sad that she never got to meet my 9 year old daughter Lilah . Grannie fought hard, as long as she could .. Yet and still, we are glad to have had her for 99 years ; that in itself, is extremely rare these days 🙏🏽🙏🏽🖤

My former teammate, John Finalyson, became a national champion for the undefeated 1998 National Championship Tennessee Vols . I will always be very proud of him , not only because we were high school teammates but because he won it all for our state and county and that’s something you can never take away from him or any athlete 🏈

The big tight end from Selmer was used primarily as a blocker but was also a threat as a receiver. He had 16 catches for 182 yards and 2 touchdowns in his career from 1998-2001.

Cooper Kinney , a 3 time Tn State champion, 2021 Tennessee High School Gatorade Player of the Year , saw his childhood dream come true after being selected 34th overall by the Tampa Bay Rays. The Baylor school grad has truly seen his dream come true . Tennessee has another player in MLB . Congratulations Cooper , what a dream come true ⚾️
