This past weekend we had a ton of fun at our Buster Britton Memorial Triathlon in Oak Mountain State Park in Pelham, AL. Check out our race highlight video!

Buster Britton Memorial Triathlon - 2024

Meet Christian. Christian showed up to the race today un-registered, rocking jorts and a cowboy hat. He finished the race registered, rocking jorts and a cowboy hat. Christian rocked it!

Meet Bre. Bre had never done a triathlon and wasn’t really planning to race yesterday. But then she showed up in Oak Mountain State Park to mountain bike for fun and parked next to our race staging area. Bre asked what was going on. We told her about our Buster Britton Triathlon and suggested she race. She replied, “I think I could do that.” 10 minutes later she was registered. 20 minutes later she had purchased a Tri kit from our friends in our expo And today she is racing! Let’s go Bre!!! We love stories like these!

We’ve been reminding our racers about the photog at the swim exit and how historically the pictures are terrible. We challenge them to give their best pose when coming out of the water and more and more racers are getting the memo 😎

Meet Steffani Davis. Steffani is one of our transition area team leads at Magic Sports races and she is the 💣 dot com. We take immense pride in having a well run, safe, and purposeful transition area and Steffani makes sure we hit those marks each and every race. Fun fact about Steffani: just a few years ago she was volunteering at our races and we started noticing that she was appearing at nearly all of our races (including travel races) and was crushing it each and every time. We knew she was special and invited her to join our official race crew soon after and we couldn’t be more happy to have her!

Congratulations to the 2024 Tri Louisville presented by Publix Tri Club Champions (and 7x champs since 2016), Tri Loco! This club knows how to “race hard” and “party harder”. Practically all Tri Loco members hang out to the very end the race each year and helps give this race the incredible energy it has, especially during the post race party.

Congrats also to the second place club, the 2018 Tri Louisville Club Champion, Louisville Landsharks, and the third place team, the Fast Chix.
