Guiding Star Tutoring will be partnering with Learning Matters, Inc. for their Music City Run for Dyslexia. This will be a 5K, 10K, and 1 mile dyslexia dash. All the net proceeds will provide assessment, tutoring, and advocacy for under resourced students. This year alone they will be giving away $120,000 worth of services. A local student here in Lexington was able to take advantage of this service just this year.

Where: Shelby Bottoms Nature Center in East Nashville

Many students can not afford an evaluation to diagnose dyslexia and events like this make it possible. We will be putting a team together here at Guiding Star to run (mostly walk 😅). If you are interested in running with us feel free to send me a message or you can register using the link below.
