Empower University Launchpad Camp is a wrap!! Our students shared the presentations of their roadmap to their desired careers and polished their professional communication skills. When your teen discovers new concepts, skills, and perspectives, their mind becomes a treasure trove of possibilities! It's like uncovering hidden riches, where they can dig deeper and discover new treasures waiting to be discovered.

Yesterday two of my girls stopped by to talk to students about their college experience. I can tell them everything I want but hearing directly from current college students and being able to ask them questions really helped solidify some decisions for our students. There intimate conversations were everything!!! Thank you and our 2022 Dream Big and Go Get Scholarship winner .lyric for stopping by. Our Empower University scholars also practiced their interviewing skills they learned the previous day with our Student Ambassadors! Great day at camp!!!

On Day 2 of Launchpad Camp, our students focused on college. They learned about different types of colleges and degrees, mastered time management and toured Nashville State Community College where they were introduced to dual enrollment and early college opportunities.

The first day of Empower University Launchpad Camp was 🔥 🔥 as students learned about military options, got a little taste of boot camp and gained insight to developing a strong personal brand! Day 2 starts shortly and we can’t wait!! Thank you to all of our Day 1 volunteers!!!
