NOW HIRING! Vega will be opening next month so we are now hiring all positions for this fast casual shawarma restaurant. We will be open from 11-8. Vega will be serving wine and beer so the cashier positions will need an ABC card. It's Tomato Fest Weekend! Come celebrate tonight with two of our summer dishes.

First up is our baharat seared fairytale eggplants with a bit of our house made hariss and a drizzle of tahina to balance out the heat.

Second we have our farmer dave heirloom tomato salad with our wheat berry salad and Turkish goat cheese.

Both of these are summer classics and won't be around for long

Fairy tale eggplant rubbed in baharat. And lightly sautéed.

On a bed of harissa, a little drizzle of tahina and a sprinkle of sunflower seeds.

We've been waiting for our soft-shell-crab-window-of-opportunity all summer, and the time is finally here! Our special tonight is this deep fried whole crab. We toss it in chickpea flour before frying it and brighten it up with preserved lemon aioli and a pole bean salad! We only have a few orders, so get it while you can!

We have a dip special for you all tonight! This is Za'alouk, a dip made with roasted eggplant and tomato. It's blended with a variety of spices and topped with goat cheese, dried olives, cilantro, and lemon. Try it with pita or veggies before we run out!

We have a new fresh salad on the menu starting this week! This is a baby kale salad that we toss with green raisins, pepitas, and pickled onions in a carrot and feta whey dressing. We top it with grated laben kashk, which is a dried yogurt. It's a perfect summer salad!

Come try our dessert special tonight! This is Layali Lubnan, a chilled semolina milk pudding. It's lightly sweetened with orange blossom water and topped with raspberry gelee and sesame cookies. Come get it before we run out!

Our fried chicken is a current staff favorite!! We marinate our chicken with sumac, fry it with chickpea flour, and serve it with pickled cabbage, cucumbers, and onions. Then we give you some zhough and pomegranate molasses to bring out all the flavor. Come in and try it tonight!
