Well here's some good news for Second Avenue. We are still working diligently to return as soon as possible. No date yet but we'll let you know as soon as we do. .

Coyote Ugly to reopen in May after Christmas Day bombing Coyote Ugly Saloon will soon reopen its downtown Nashville location after it was extensively damaged in the Christmas Day bombing more than a year ago.

Hard to believe it has been a year since the explosion. We miss our work family, we miss our guests, we miss our neighborhood. A lot was lost but we remain grateful that nobody was physically injured. It remains a complicated road back but we continue to look forward to the rebirth or our restaurant. For today we just hope that Nashville enjoys a peaceful Christmas celebration. Merry Christmas.

Up on the roof watching our AC units being removed last week and found lots of destroyed coins apparently stored in the bomber's camper. All of the AC units on the roof were removed due to damage and to reduce the weight on the structure. This reduces collapse potential and sets the stage for shoring up the building. It's a pennies worth of progress but it's progress!!!!

In the immediate aftermath of the Christmas Day Explosion The Salvation Army - Nashville came to the rescue of our staff with Gift Cards and other assistance. This week we had a chance to give back a little with a donation of hundreds of pounds of non-perishable foods like rice, pastas, beans, sugar, can goods and more. Thank you to Hollis and Joe from Salvation Army and Glenn and Demetrius from our team for loading it all up.
