Last day for Apres Sled is today. Gonna rock grilled cheeses all day and add some dinner stuff tonight. Let’s have one more blow out.

Losing the top of the hill due to construction is hurting a little.
Current conditions are running a little slow with some early sledders last night moving snow around and opening a patch or too. Today’s snow should cover and fill in as the day moves on. The hill should get packed down and, as always, once the sun goes down it should harden and pick up speed.
The next few days should be epic.

Long post!!
Thanks to posting a few weeks ago about my first restaurant tayst. It seems to be coming up in conversation a lot lately. While it’s not often mentioned in Nashville food history discussions we definitely blazed some trails in this town. Most importantly, a lot of folks had some amazing experiences with us!
First dates that turned into marriages. Special dates that turned into kids! Celebrations of all sorts!!
A place to feel welcome in good days and bad!!
Maybe the best part was the amount of folks willing to try new things. Either from behind the bar with AD or the amazing stuff we put out of that tiny kitchen.
I kept all the write ups we received over the years, pile on the left😳. Bonus find. The first 2 years of our menus plus our first New Year’s Eve menu, the 10 courses of Xmas for a whopping $85.
Although we technically opened in October 2003, 20 years ago, we’re gonna do a tayst of tayst in March. We’ll do a follow up when takes it’s winter break.
