May 25 – Disaster Response & Preparedness
Join the Middle Tennessee CPCU Chapter and Joel Sullivan, Regional Executive of the American Red Cross-Tennessee Region and Executive Director of the Nashville Area Chapter for a discussion on disaster response and preparedness. Joel will share how the American Red Cross responds to large and small disasters, and other lines of service that you may not know about. You will also learn how you can better prepare for disasters as we head into hurricane season and yearlong disasters such as house fires and tornadoes.

March is traditionally Ethics Month, and we are excited to present “A Question of Ethics - Can I? Should I? Will I?" by our own board member, John Brunette. The course will review ethics and morals, distinguish between ethical and legal behavior, and overview virtue-based ethics and situational ethics. And has been approved for one hour of CE with the state of Tennessee. This zoom meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 12:00 PM CT. Our local board had the opportunity to support the Middle Tennessee State University RMI program with a $2,500 scholarship. The six students who received a portion of the scholarship were incredibly grateful the much needed funds. The names have been removed for privacy.
