TUESDAY IN MIDTOWN!

I moved to Nashville on April 1st, 2012 with nothing really but a dream. I just turned 30 years old and I had no direction, no vehicle, no job, and no clue whatsoever about how to “make it.” In my first week of living here in Music City I found myself playing afternoon cover gigs downtown on Broadway for tips thanks to an introduction my friend Chris of the Davisson Brothers Band made. I spent most of those tips at Losers Bar and Grill Nashville every night while eating the free popcorn for dinner. In my second week in town, I broke up a fight one night and got offered a job working the door at Loser’s on weekends and next door at Winner’s on Mondays for Whiskey Jame . It was awesome! I met some of my best friends in the world to this day and made the memories of a lifetime. A few months later I started my own music night with a couple new friends at Tin Roofon Demonbruen on Tuesdays. We called it Revival. We had some BIG times there at Tin Roof and I look back on that almost 10 year run with nothing but love. I watched strangers becomes friends, friends get first time publishing and record deals, and unknown songs from unknown songwriters become sing-along crowd favorites. It was a movement that put the SONG first and if you were going to play Revival: you better bring your damn A-Game! We had a big outdoor show planned in March of 2020 and that obviously never happened. I was newly married with a baby on the way while trying not to “lose my marbles” with the current state of the world. Vinnie Paolizzi helped man the ‘Revival’ ship when we were allowed to perform in public again… and it was on again/off again for a while. But even as the world finally opened back up, I never fully came back around to the idea. My heart had taken a turn and I was unwilling to sacrifice my time with Fatherhood. Over the past 4 years we have kept Revival going by doing Road Shows but the Nashville shows have been few and far between. After a lot of soul-searching and encouragement from countless friends I’m happy to announce that we’re bringing Revival back to town again where it all started for me 12 years ago: Loser’s Bar.
New Chapter Starts on April 16th at 6pm ⛪️There will be 3 rounds of 3 people: 3 songs each AND one full band showcase at 9pm.
