What a great night in Clarksville with Tap House 57 Hockey Club. The crowd was amazing and what a game. NFD Hockey comes away with a 11-9 victory but it was a battle until the final seconds of the game. The donations from the community were rolling in and it was just a great night all around. Thank you again Lauri Hodges for sponsoring the night and everyone else who made it possible. It was an honor to be a part of this event.

Our friends at Cason Pointe Real Estate have given back over 300K through Homes for Heroes and on top of that #1 in the state!!
Thinking of buying or selling a home? Give them a call, I bet they can save you money.
š¢Yāall!! Cason Pointe Real Estate hit a MAJOR milestone and we are SO excited about it!
ā¼ļøWe have directly given back OVER š²300,000 to our Hero clients through our partnership with Homes for Heroes!!!ā¼ļø
(Remember all those ābig checkā pics? š)
So often youāll see other Realtors posting their ānumbersāā¦ their volume of sales, their biggest/most expensive listing, how many clients theyāve had, etcā¦but those numbers have no importance to those of us at Cason Pointe Real Estate š«
The ONLY numbers that matter are these ones:
- How many Heroes have we served? š
- How much have we given back to our Heroes to thank them for their Service? š
- How many MORE Heroes can we tell about the Homes for Heroes program? š
- How many Heroes can we help outside of just their Real Estate needs? šØ

Nashville Fire Department Adds New Ambulance to EMS Division
The New Medic #24 becomes the 32nd full-time ambulance in the NFD Fleet
NASHVILLE, Tenn. August 30, 2023 ā The Nashville Fire Department added a new ambulance to respond to all-hazards emergency medical calls in Metro Nashville Davidson County.
Medic 24 is a newly added Advanced Life Support ambulance to the Nashville Metro and Davidson County area which brings the total number of full-time ambulances to 32. This ambulance will be in service to provide 24/7 emergency medical services.
Medic 24ās territory is primarily located in the growing Northwest Nashville, (Bordeaux area). Having Medic 24 in this area adds emergency medical response to support residents and local businesses in the area.
This new ambulance will also reduce ambulances stationed in other territories from responding to the Bordeaux area as often. This emergency response ambulance is expected to help reduce response times and run volumes for all medic units.
Even though Medic 24 will be assigned primarily in the Northwest Nashville area, it is available to respond city-wide as needed.
āOur department continues to grow, and we can add more ambulance coverage to the community as a result of the additional staffing provided through Metro Nashville Davidson Countyās Operating Budget.ā Director Chief William Swann said. We are constantly assessing our call volume and the best way to better serve the residents and visitors of our community.ā
The Nashville Fire Department is one of the busiest emergency medical service providers in the Nation.
āIt is important for us to continue to expand with the city,ā Deputy Director of EMS Operations Fred Smith said. āNot only will this additional ambulance help us reduce response times, but
Medic 24 will also help relieve the heavy workload our EMS professionals already have due to the high call volume.
In 2022, NFD Personnel made more than 254,550 medical responses. It was an 8 percent increase when compared to 2021. (235,250)
NFDās EMS division made 81,990 EMS Transports in 2022. That was a 4 percent increase when compared to 2021. (78,680)
Weāve had some great support lately and want to give a shout out to some recent sponsors that have donated to NFD Hockey.
Obviously, Cason Pointe Real Estate stepped up in a big way to become the title sponsor for our 9/11 Memorial game.
Loveless Cafe with a contribution from the proceeds from the Fish Fry Day we partnered with them for. Also during that event, the silent auction was a big hit. A big thank you to Plantation Pub for helping with their donations and getting those items to us.
Also a donation came in from Music City Brush Company and we are glad to have their support and looking forward to working together on future events as well.
This is how we are able to keep this team moving forward. This is how we can step up and help when our Brothers or Sisters are in need.
