It’s Music City Monday and this week is 🔥!

Tonight catch composer, producer, musician, professor artist, activist and all around badass Monica Shriver at with an all star line up. Spoiler alert, her drummer this evening is literally our favorite in town.

Tuesday one of our favorite original projects, will be at . If you haven’t seen the group yet, trust us, you’ve definitely heard the players before

If you haven’t been to yet, this is the week to do it. , the 4X grammy winner from Snarky Puppy will be there. If you saw his last show, you know this is not to be missed.

Thursday check out the founder of at . We’re not sure if she was an activist or a musician first, but we sure love hearing sing.

Finish out the work week with at . She has such a beautiful voice and it’s a treat to see her perform anytime, but on a Friday at the 5 Spot sounds like the perfect end to the week.

Finally if you’re wondering why is on the list a lot this week, it’s because it is LIT! You can celebrate Mardi Gras how nature intended on Tuesday. And on Friday, have the perfect date night with Ladies of Jazz show f/ on 🥁.
Stay for the next act, the Vibration Arts Ensemble. Led by DMB’s on 🎷 , you’ll hear a band of superstars. Our personal favorite player mr will be there on trombone and the legendary Chester Thompson will be on 🥁

Not to be all gloom and doom first thing in the morning. But I have to remind y’all, I can’t help you if something happens to you while you’re uninsured. I can give you advice or suggest more affordable facilities locally. However being a health advisor doesn’t mean I can work miracles. Our system is still set up how it is which is so that you are on the hook for any bills you have while being uninsured.

I’ve had three people I know very well hit me up wanting help with bills they received while being uninsured. I can’t help you, just like a car insurance broker can’t help you if you get in a wreck without coverage.

Get something. Even if it sucks it’s better than nothing. Beyond just the money, the headache of dealing with massive corporate hospitals is worth the cost of a monthly premium. Most of the time when it’s someone that went without coverage, they could have had free or affordable coverage. They just didn’t know how to access it.

So from now throughout open enrollment, if you need help with Obamacare, Medicaid, a private plan, or picking an employer option, schedule time with me on my site. I’m doing my best to help everyone but the first step you can take to protect yourself is find out what you have access to and get some kind of coverage in place.
