Mothertone

This is a shout out to Ryan Smith and Shure. We’ve been writing/tracking plenty of vocals, guitars, drums while creating for our new project Midwest Molly. With our first release just out and several coming soon, we have consistently used our Shure headphones that Ryan (Artist relations in Nashville) gave us for free when our other pair had an ugly incident.

Thanks Ryan, they’ve been awesome and much appreciated. They sound ‘right’ and they’re completely reliable.

Having worked for several years in the same building as Ryan/Shure Artist Relations in Nashville, Ryan has always been the true artist support to the big names and the up and coming alike. For over 25 years Ryan has enthusiastically represented products that he genuinely loves and believes in.

We hope you enjoy the tracks as much as we have enjoyed the process.

Here’s a big shout out and thank you to my friend Jeff Pitt who has been out on tour almost all year with George Thorogood & The Destroyers.

My nephew Luke is studying music production in Brisbane Australia and when the Thorogood tour came through this week, Jeff welcomed him there and took time on a busy set up day to show and talk Luke through the gear and setup they’re using on this tour. And he was available again during tear down night.

Despite how long tours away from home always run energies down, Jeff is never anything but friendly and kind on top of being a total professional at what he does. There’s always great people behind why things run like clockwork.

Thanks for being an awesome human being Jeff. Much appreciated.

And of course it was great catching up too.
