The Hive Natick

Our year as the first anchor tenant of the Hive has officially come to an end. I have been so lucky to work with such an incredible group of women - 15 different women owned small businesses during my tenure. 💕 You all made it an incredible project to be a part of, and helped to create the most wonderful collective community. I have enjoyed building this sweet and supportive community, both online and on Main Street. I have moved just across the road to share space with and I hope you will all visit in the shop and follow me over on to follow along with the next chapter in our story!

Now the time has come for me to pass the baton to the wonderful Kim from . She will be taking over the brick and mortar shop as well as the social media for the Hive and I know it will continue to grow and flourish with her at the helm.

Thank you so much for the wonderful first year + building The Hive to be the incredible spot that it is! ♥️

Next in our series of vendor spotlights is the lovely Heather of .

Natick native, Heather McNamara has been making handcrafted manifestation candles at her workshop in Shrewsbury since 2019. A fervent believer in “what you think about, you bring about”, Heather creates candles that support your intentions as you focus on your ultimate dreams and goals.

Hedge & Heather has recently expanded their candle line to include perfumes, room & linen sprays, diffusers, and crystals.

Heather offers candle making and manifestation workshops here at The Hive, as well as teaches private and corporate workshops.

Leading up to our one year anniversary we’re reintroducing the bees that currently make up the Hive!

First up is Isabel of ! Isabel is the designer and founder of our first anchor brand for the shop. When she had her son Max, she traded in her corporate job designing childrenswear for Burberry, and decided to go into business for herself. Isabel designs her collection based on simple styles, unique colours and prints, and fabrics made from natural fibres for comfort and easy care - making them a favourite amongst kids and grownups alike! Oh, and did we mention that her entire collection is made locally in MA? Isabel prioritises supporting local business, and keeps as much local as possible!

If you’ve been in the shop, you know that Hedgehog Belly is not just clothing, but also a great selection of toys, books and gifts - carefully curated from small, ethical and local vendors. ✨

Many of you have loved meeting them in the shop, and shopping their unique and special products - hand crafted and specially curated for our sweet shop in Natick. We will miss them! 🩷

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT ALERT

The HIVE is thrilled to announce a new residency: Natick Resident Kim Rickard will be popping up in a generous portion of the Hive with her very own BOOKSTORE called TEN TREES BOOKS!

The HIVE, located at 22 Main St in Natick center, is a retail accelerator, used by short and mid term "residents" to try out new concepts and make the journey of retail entrepreneurship more accessible.

A life time book enthusiast, Kim is ready to launch her community book store concept at the Hive with the hopes that, should it be popular, she will be BRINGING AN INDEPENDENT BOOKSTORE TO NATICK CENTER!!!!!!

It’s FEBRUARY! Around these parts we haven’t had a beautiful sunny day in (what feels like) ages - but inside the Hive we’ve refreshed our displays and have plenty of cheer to counteract the cloudy days! ♥️

Our Heating system is broken and will be getting replaced next week.
