I have a bunch of fun events on my schedule for September! This Saturday is the Nao Trinidad Tall Ship event at Pope’s Island. Tours of the tall ship are happening all week, and Saturday there will be live music, food trucks, and a small artisan market that I’ll have a table at.

Then Saturday the 21st will be First Taste of Fall at Buttonwood Zoo. You must be 21 for this event because there will be beer and wine tastings going on. This is a ticketed event too so make sure to check out bpzoo.org for more information.

Lastly for September I’ll be at the final Huttleston Market for 2024. I can’t believe we’re already at the end of the season for Huttleston, and I’m going to miss all my small business friends so much!

There are tons of reasons why we use 100% soy wax for our candles, but here are just a few!
1. Soy wax is a cleaner burn! We don’t want to use wax that has any toxins or pollutants in it because we give a sh*t about you and your health. Plain and simple.
2. Soy wax is biodegradable and water soluble. That means safer for the environment and easier to clean up. Have you heard of our recycling program??
3. Soy wax is an all natural and renewable resource! Better for the environment again, and more affordable for you and me.
4. Soy wax lasts 30-50% longer than paraffin wax so your candle is going to last… and last… and last!
5. Soy wax is easy to clean up! Since it’s water soluble you can clean up spills or your jars with hot water and Dawn dish soap.

I can’t believe we are already coming to the end of July! Not doing an event every single weekend this year has been odd but it’s also been wonderful spending more time with my family.
Here are my next few events coming up. Huttleston Marketplace this coming Saturday and August 10th and then I’ll be at at Kilburn Mill on August 25th for their Swap & Shop event. Bring a plant to that one and you’ll receive a 15% off coupon to participating shop inside the Mill.
If you haven’t checked out inside then head on up to the 3rd floor next time you’re at the Mill and check them out. It’s your one stop shop for beautiful beachy resin art and they even host classes in their studio too!

Here are my top 3 candle care tips. Follow these steps for the best burn each time!

1. Always trim your wicks before each burn. This keeps the flame low which helps with scent throw and reducing soot.

2. That FIRST burn is the most important!! Candle wax has a memory so make sure the first time you light your candles make sure you have the time to let the wax on the top melt ALL the way to the edges of your vessel. This will keep your candle from tunneling and reduce waisted wax.

3. Avoid burning your candles for more than 4 hours at a time. It’s mainly a safety issue as excessive heat can weaken the vessel, but it also helps prolong the life of the fragrance oils in your candle.

Always make sure your candles are on a flat stable surface while burning so that it has the best chance to reach a full melt pool. Keep lit candles away from pets and small children, and away from curtains, plants, and hanging art. Most importantly don’t leave lit candles unattended.

The time has come my beautiful friends!! My first event of the 2024 season is a week away!!!! I legit can’t wait to see all your smiling faces and show you everything I’ve been working on.
I’m starting things off in Fall River at the We Heart Fall River event run by which is going to be a ton of fun!! Tons of great vendors, food trucks, and fun for the whole family.
Then on May 28th we kickstart Huttleston Marketplace! If you have never been to this one you really gotta check it out. It’s got small town vibes with a bunch of amazing local businesses near and dear to my heart. This is my 3rd year at this event and I just love it. I’ll have a bunch of dates this year at Huttleston so plenty of chances to come say hi!
Event season is my favorite time of year and I’m so glad it’s finally here!! Can’t wait to see everyone!!! 🩷🩷🩷

Hello April and hello Spring!! Even though it’s a bit cold still here in New England I know that Spring weather is fast approaching. I don’t know about you but I neeeed lots of warm sunshiney days to help my mental health right about now.
My favorite thing about Spring is that we are just about one month away from market season starting!!! Yaay! I will however need everyone to get together and collectively do the OPPOSITE of a rain dance so that we have nothing but beautiful sunny Saturdays this year! I seriously can’t wait to show y’all everything I’ve been working on!!
The other thing I’m doing right now is challenging myself to post something to Instagram every single day the whole month of April. It’s not as easy as you think y’all! Lol Like a lot of folks I’m seeing a big drop in followers (IG thankfully getting rid of lots of bot accounts) and so I’m hoping this will give my account the boost it needs!

I painted my work room a few days back and finally after 2 years I hung all my pegboard. Lol 😂 Being organized like this makes me so incredibly happy. It’s so much easier to pour all these candles with everything at my fingertips!
