We made a sale before the festival even began and have been doing really well, so far so good !

My stepmom made this BEAUTIFUL garland (though I’m totally taking credit for the fabric choice) for us to hang over and our canopy- it is exactly how I imagined it🔥

My parents also helped to stain each crate for the comfiest, warmest farmhouse vibe (thanks guys !)

Not featured of course is all of the product, all of its packaging (my god that took the longest, right Peter?😂) and all the hard work it took to do all of this, though hopefully it’ll show 👀👀

This one is seriously so much fun to make❣️

Candy Shop is a body butter whip made with nourishing shea, mango, and cocoa butters, along with coconut and sweet almond oil, and smells gently of cotton candy 🍭

This recipe is something I’ve worked on for awhiiiiiile now, I wanted to make something that was super nourishing💧but also not greasy (and that isn’t the easiest using natural oils), but I think this one hits it out of the park (& I hope you do, too❤️)

She’s just about ready to be released so stay peeped 👀

I realized that after months of posting
about my soaps, I’ve never posted a picture of the soapmaker, so here I am !

My name is Chelsey, I am the founder and co-owner of Cheeks Boutique with my partner, Peter ❤️ I also plan and handcraft every one of our products !

I wear the hat of social media manager, learning HOW to social media 😂, product and label design (right alongside Peter), event organizer, and for sure plenty I’m forgetting about. Peter and I have spent the last of two years working hard to creating a worthy product for you guys, and are feeling good about it so far !

I turn 30 this summer and I think have come to terms with it, just another decade wiser, right ? 🧙🏻‍♀️🪄 Teenagers think I’m old and seasoned adults think I’m young so it’s a weird limbo to be in 😂😂😂 but that’s okay, we’ll make it despite our knees aching

My cat’s name is Waffle and I could honestly write an entire post just on her (I likely will at some point) but she’s an angel and I love her to pieces. 🐈❤️

I enjoy live music🎶, charcuterie (mostly for the cheese)🧀 Super Smash Brothers, strawberry🍓earrings, traveling, and Peter❣️

Oh and I beat Marvel V Capcom at a barcade once 😎 (ty Peter for the quick assist when my hands were literally cramping)

That’s it on me for awhile, Peter is just as much a valued and integral part of CheeksB and my life, so keep an eye out for a couples pic 👩‍❤️‍👨 Until then I’ll keep bugging you with our soap, butters, and salts ❤️

✨In other news✨It’s gorgeous outside, and I am SO lucky to live just a few minutes from the water, so I will be spending some time sitting at the docks, or on a jetty by the bay while I wait for this to finish curing ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻❤️

It’s important to take a day off and recharge before you’re back at it 💪🏻 so HAVE that beach day, sleep in one morning, splurge on that caramel latte, and give yourself the time you need, bb 😘❤️

Sea Maiden is almost here y’all 🌊🌊🌊

My house smells so good, every time I walk through my door I am INSTANTLY welcomed by the fresh smell of soap(s)

This scent in particular is so fresh and clean, sweet and pretty. Sea Maiden is topped with a genuine pearl, salt harvested from Duxbury, MA by , and dried cornflower petals. 😍

The salt makes the “wave” on top of the soap look like it’s crashing, & the cornflower is a deeper ocean blue, and… I’m just so in love with it 💙

This bar will be up on the site in just a few weeks, or you can buy it in person at this years New Bedford Folk Festival (and a few others TBA)

We’ve spent a lot of time planning our first ever booth display, and are SUPER excited to show it off 👀👀

Peter worked hard on these, and I think he nailed it with the design (especially the one on the right). he searched all over to find the perfect recyclable label (it peels right off for easy recycling♻️) and even reached out to them personally to confirm they ain’t lyin 😉

& this bar is one of my favorite to make, she’s just too pretty 😍 Our Himalayan Rose bar is one of our most popular and for good reason ! This bar is made with rose extract, rose clay, kaolin clay, and colloidal oats, and scented with the perfect blend of English Rose, Wild Rose, and Pink Peony. 🌹🌷🌸

I’ve made so much of this stuff these past few weeks because we consistently sell out, so here’s to hoping we have enough this time ! 🤞🏻

Before stumbling into the world of soap making I never realized that soap could be so beautiful, but I am so inspired by all the hardworking, creative soap makers, and making pretty soap is now my favorite thing 😍

She smells of sea moss, ocean mist, agave and a touch of coconut milk, and is made with real sand from the beaches of Cape Cod 🌊🌊🌊

This beauty, massive stainless steel pots, and 10lb soap molds have been on my shopping list for awhile now, and this week I finally took the plunge !

Financial decisions can be scary at times but as my Dad always tells me, “you can’t always wait for your ship to come, you need to learn to swim out” 🚢

Owning a business is about making moves, sometimes scary ones😅, having confidence, and making SURE you succeed (or at least make up for pricey purchases 😂)
