Building a new home? Ask us about spraying in rockwool insulation which seals and tightens your home.
Rockwool insulation does NOT observe moisture and will not support mold or mildew growth. Cellulose insulation will obsorb water to 150% of its wieght which then causes mold and fungus to grow in your home
R-19 batts have an R-Value of 13.7 when installed as commonly found in actual walls. Blown in Rockwool insulation installed by JM of New Bedford can achieve and R-value of 24 in that same stud space.
The R-value of insulation materials is dependent on ambient temperature and wind conditions. Independent tests show that at 18 degrees F, with a 15 mph wind, the theoretical R-value batt insulation drops from 19 to 7.
Use the good stuff, Blown in ROCKWOOL insulation.
