The second of 2 pieces I am presenting at tomorrow’s Fine Arts Club by from 6-8pm at the Wamsutta Club at the James Arnold Mansion (427 County St, NB). The pieces are from my photo project, “Reconstructing History: The Redevelopment of New Bedford in the 20th Century” which catalogs New Bedford urban renewal projects of the 1960s and 70s.

“Looking South on Acushnet Avenue at Pearl Street” is a photo diptych with the image on the left from Urban Renewal Collection depicting the area prior to the construction of Route 18. The photo on the right presents a contemporary view of the same location.
