Medical Equipment Dynamics was established in New Bedford December 2007 and is located inn the South-End in a large brock mill. We are looking for full time work Monday through Friday between 8:30 and 5PM with a little mandatory overtime.

Starts at $36,400 per year.

New Bedford based MED seeks an energetic and positive team-member responsible for many important roles: Warehouse Packer. Shipper. Mover. Cleaner. Driver. Loader. Clean equipment. Inspect equipment. Meet clients to remove decommissioned medical equipment.

General Overview:

- Warehouse Packing: Package parcel into boxes and freight shipments onto pallets via strapping/bubble wrap/shrink wrap/etc)
- Shipping: Ship packaged goods: UPS Parcel/Freight/Van Lines
- Inspection: Part of Packaging Equipment incudes the following as applicable: inspect to confirm you are shipping what was ordered
- Moving: Lift and move heavy equipment.
- Clean Equipment: prepare equipment to be photographed; remove stickers, etc.
- Driver: Drive a non-CDL (no need for a special license) truck (Penske/Ryder 26’ w/ extended lift gate) to MED clients such as hospitals.
- Communicate: Meet with hospital clients to move decommissioned medical equipment from within the hospital to the truck.
- Loading: Secure equipment safetly inside the truck and unload when back at the warehouse
- Additional warehouse tasks associated with keeping a clean, organized and efficient operation

Full-Time
8:30AM to 5:00PM Monday to Friday
No weekends

Starts at $700 per week plus some mandatory overtime.

Skills, Abilities and Requirements:

- As a frontline representative of the company, a clean-cut appearance is required (no-rip jeans, boots, belt, etc during pickups with an MED shirt)
- Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle and move/push/pull/lift heavy items
- Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving history
- Packer, Mover, Shipping & Receiving experience a plus
