Today we said goodbye to our old National Avenue office & shop.

Many of you came to know our family business here. For many, your friendship with Phil began here - over coffee in the break room or Friday lunches & Simma's dessert. My dad grew up in an area so similar to Silver City that he was drawn to this place because of the surrounding community - it's warmth, diversity and it's challenges.

We had 20 good years here before outgrowing this space. We experienced so much prosperity - as a company, as individuals and as a family.

As we close the door on 2020 (I think we're ALL ready), we are happy to see what comes next for 3303 W. National Avenue...A really special place once The Grace Theater, Milwaukee Sewing Machine Co. and Damage Control Inc.

Cheers to closing some doors and opening new ones in the coming year!

We are seeking a reliable, motivated and versatile Carpenter to assist with our continuously growing workload.

Because of our diverse job types in restoration and remodeling, we can offer a stable 40+ hours throughout the year.

Full benefits package, including paid vacation & holiday, direct deposit, health, dental, and life insurance.

Candidate qualifications include:

- Minimum 3 years carpentry experience

- Enjoys different & challenging projects

- Strong communication skills

- Attention to detail

- Willing to be part of a rotating on call schedule for emergencies only

- Valid driver license & reliable transportation

- Possesses own tools
