This is our truss mounted mirror ball backdrop. We can custom build it any height/length. This setup it 16ft wide and 9ft tall with a metal disc backdrop behind the mirror balls. We can also do white or black fabric for the back layer of the backdrop. The truss can me exposed, covered in white scrims or illuminated in any color. Also, the mirror balls can stay static or we can add spin motors to some or all the mirror balls.

I just want to feel the market. How many brides and grooms would consider a drone light show at their wedding? For example, your monogram displayed outside in the sky above your venue 500ft x 500ft, “I Do”, etc. This is a service Double Platinum DJ Service has been considering investing in.

Today, I visited the new Baird Center site for an upcoming production event. The photo below shows a third of the event space, which measures 200ft. by 200ft.

I'm excited to work with Marcus Anthony and Conner Sprenger to fill this space with explosive sound, killer lighting and some creative decor.

We transformed Double Platinum DJ Service warehouse into a dance party for my daughter’s 9th & 13th birthday party.

Placing our marquee letters on the floor is nice. Placing them on a ledge or behind a bar is nicer. Mounting lit marquee letters to truss and showcasing them as the centerpiece of your event is 👌

DPDJ can install our white marquee letters on any size truss for events. Weddings - we can cover the truss with white scrims for a clean, elegant look.

DPDJs Elle, Marcus and Conner did an outstanding job on this one. 20 mirror balls, LED ORB Wall, LED dance floor, pin-spots, uplighting and a disco ball backdrop selfie-station. I’m thankful and grateful for a hard working staff that takes pride in what their doing and pays attention to the details.

Good morning, Labor Day. IMO, today is for all the women that have been in labor, especially my mother Linda M Huisman who did it 8x. She also gave me 100% of my work ethic. She led by example as a single mother of 8 with 3 jobs.

On the job side - choose one you love, and it will never feel like work. Labor keeps wrinkles out of the mind, body and spirit. Dream big.

My fabulous daughter, Chloe’, brought me equipment that I forgot at yesterdays wedding, and then came back with dinner for me from Lupis & Iris. I owe you one kid. ❤️

The equipment I forgot was our entire DJ booth. 😂 We had our LED dance floor, a custom projection, 6 cold spark fixtures, music videos, a white on white backdrop 4 tie-backs, a truss mounted monitor for a photo loop, 200!!! battery-powered up-lights, a red carpet entry, lasers, our selfie-station, bubbles for the ceremony, sound in the garden, sound on the terrace, sound in the entry and sound in the dance area.

400ft of white strand string lights with warm white LED bulbs. The giant X patterns look awesome in this modern/metro venue. Our white marquee letters have filiment bulbs, so they will cast a warm glow over the dance floor this evening.

Double Platinum DJ has 6ft, 9ft, 18ft and 24ft crystal chandeliers. We are using 5 of our 9ft tonight at Jan Serr. ✨✨✨✨✨

This residential event has special effects galore. CO2 blasts, confetti blasts and cold sparks. We also brought our LED dance floor, uplighting, pinspot ceiling illumination and disco balls.

Solo setup today for the savage 46 year old. 💪

LED dance floor, 165 Chiavari chairs, monogram projection, music videos, 50 up-lights, outdoor ceremony, 3rd location cocktail hour and a full ceiling drape install. Thankfully - no elevator here.

PDJ built a 26ft x 13ft x 11ft white scrim covered/crystal cornered truss structure for this wedding. We also have our white gold Chiavari chairs with white pads, a monogram projection, string lights on the patio, 1st dance spotlight, uplights, pin-spots, music videos, lasers and a 1st dance low lie fog special effect. Reflections of You did the flowers. Perfect Day Event Planning is the planner. This one came together amazing. 👌

Double Platinum DJ has an extensive list of backdrop options to choose from. We do head table backdrops most often, but we can place backdrops anywhere in your reception space.
