Well it's been a long day but the bbq gods shone down on us a little out of 23 teams we took 2nd place chefs choice, 4th place brisket, 9th place chicken, but never made the top 10 for ribs. But getting your named called for 3 out of the 4 is a win in my book.

Well the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce cook-off was yesterday turn in Pork belly burnt ends street tacos for cook choice, brisket, ribs and chicken. Out of 20 some teams got 4th place chicken but never place in anything else. BBQ gods weren't on our side.

If the bbq is great you shouldn't need sauce to make it taste good.

So we are playing around with a new item it's pork belly seasoned rolled up like a cinnamon roll then put on a bunch with a peach, mango, habanero salsa.

Cowboy Up BBQ & Catering is at Hidden Valley Sports park for the softball game but stop by for some bbq will be here until 7pm.

Cowboy Up BBQ & Catering brisket burnt ends had to practice for a competition in a few weeks.

Well the Summit market day today didn't go as planned wind burst kicked up and took off with our canopies and the rain had us drowned quick, now the sun is shining🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ oh well on to Hidden Valley Sports park next Sunday the 24 th for the softball night.

Well yesterday the BBQ gods did not shine down on us, competed in a competition at the local Elks lodge out of 26 teams, not sure where we finished because they only total point for the first 6 places. Had a good time with some friends, but pretty disappointed.
