The United States Marine Corps is HUGE on family, from the day you walk into the office for more information to your last day as an Active Duty Marine. One of the main reason I hear someone doesn’t want to join is “my parents wouldn’t let me, or my parents would be disappointed I don’t want to let them down”. As young men and women we all want to make our parents proud, so we strive to be the best version of ourselves. Being successful is a choice we have here in this country. Joining the Marine Corps has made families extremely proud since 1775, so proud they will make sure to let everyone they meet know “my son/daughter/brother/sister is a Marine”. The United States Marine Corps has over 300 jobs to chose from, many folks forget about our aviation program. Imagine being able to fly or work on these million dollar machines! In the Marine Corps you don’t need experience upon joining, we will teach you everything you need to know about your aircraft. 💥EMBASSY DUTY💥 Only Marines are able to stand embassy duty, work at the White House and es**rt the President. There are embassies all over the world in many different countries, countries you may have not heard of. Marines get the opportunity to travel the world see different cultures and work with foreign militaries. New Braunfels Marines and the Poolees participated in an Initial Strength Test (IST) on Saturday morning. This event gauged everyone’s physical and mental readiness as they prepare for initial training. We just so happen to pick Landa Park to host this event. Spirits were high!

Taking the first steps into the world of the Marine Corps takes courage, integrity and honor.
