Wine Wednesday 🍷

Château d’Estournel, located in St. Estèphe, just north of the Pauillac border, is steps away from the vineyards of Lafite-Rothschild. It has maintained a high standard of quality, consistently producing wines that are considered among the best in Bordeaux for decades.

The winery at the Château was renovated in 2008 with state-of-the-art gravity-fed vats, which allow the château to vinify plot by plot prior to blending. 2005 was considered one of the best vintages of the château.

Château Hosanna, owned by the Moueix Family (Petrus, Dominus), is located in the heart of Pomerol, farmed off of just 11 acres. This Merlot-dominant blend was called one of Christian Moueix’s favorite wines of 2010.
