The answer depends on which side of the market you’re trading on.

If you trade the retail side of the market then I don’t think it’s possible. However, if you trade the professional side of the market then it’s more than doable.

To trade on the professional side of the market, you need to understand how the market actually works and make informed trading decisions based on your understanding.

The retail side is trading an avalanche of different strategies that are based on incorrect beliefs of how the market works and the problem with that is that their strategies are very inefficient and it’s close to impossible to be successful long term with their approach.

The professional side is using professional strategies that are based on correct beliefs and correct understanding. Once you’re there you will understand that there’s really just one correct way to trade the market, because price moves only one way.

And once you start trading correctly, your old beliefs about possible returns in this market will fade away. Because you will see that you need so little pips to make so much money when you know what you’re doing, and the only limit ever was you and nothing else.

Will the US dollar significantly lose value if de-dollarization takes place?❓

1. De-dollarization is already taking place but the Fed. Res is already for months on end adapting its monetary policies to fight inflation. Both de-dollarization and changes in the money supply (and interest rates) influence the US exchange rate.

2. Since April 1, 2023, the dollar has risen slightly against the euro and the rate is nowadays rather flat.

3. The effects of the de-dollarization in the very near future will remain limited as capital markets are relatively stable and energy prices are also relatively calm as financial markets are getting accustomed to the Russian-Ukraine war and the mild climate seasons have led to sufficient oil reserves and the countries realized satisfactory contracts, particularly in Europe.

4. The credit rating agencies in the US are not bothered by the de-dollarization: Standard & Poor's credit rating for the United States stands at AA+ with stable outlook. Moody's credit rating for the United States was last set at Aaa with stable outlook.
