How cool is this: Joshua flew us to Maui today.. the first time he’s been to Maui, and he brought his sister along with him, and he did a fantastic job! It was also the first time we had flown together.

When we went to exchange phone numbers after we landed, we realized that we already had each others number! Weird.

After some research, we discovered that we had connected by text in early 2022, but we don’t know who connected us. Joshua had questions about potentially joining Alaska Airlines, which I tried to answer… and… well.. you know what happened next - we landed in Maui 2 years later!

So cool. 😊

What a fantastic few days we had at the JLFC Formation Clinic in Waukesha, Wisconsin. After receiving excellent training, mentoring and encouragement.. Richard and I flew check rides this morning to receive our Formation Lead (and instructor) cards. This was a lot of hard work… but a very fun and well run clinic, with some of the best like-minded avnerds you’d want to hang out with. Thank you all. ✈️😊🍻

When your work layover hotel is 25 minutes from somebody needing a Chipmunk maintenance test flight… you get in an Uber and go!

Taking WP833 (the historic Chipmunk that flew around the world in 1997 on Operation Northern Venture) around the patch with Nando and then a little solo pattern for fun before I head back to the Boeing flying. 😊
