Grateful to ride this starship around our star another time.
Last trip began with some amazing highs and ended with devastating lows.

I’ve learned, I’ve grown, and I’ve gotten better as a result.
I have earned every gray in my beard and I’m looking forward to adding more in the coming years.

I always appreciate birthday comments and well wishes, but I would ask one more favor from you on this day.
As you may know from my music, I am not a religious person, but I am spiritual, and I have come to believe in the power of prayer.
if you are a praying person, could you please include my son in your prayers?
He is an amazing child, dealing with an incredibly challenging circumstance.
I’ll leave out the details out of respect for his privacy but maybe one day down the line he’ll share about how he overcame this challenge, and it will be partially due to the power of your collective thoughts and positive energy.

This is one of my most recent pieces for an incredibly dope hip-hop group called Justice System . The chorus of the song is “crystal clear like Bobby Drake in his ice state” I decided to make the two lead MC‘s project ice powers against one of the most memorable foes for Iceman that I can remember.
This is also a rest in peace shout out to Neil Adams for cementing the image of Iceman battling sentinels in Manhattan in my mind forever.

So a year ago I felt like this guy…
Stuck, morbidly obese, putting mental shackles on s**t that didn’t belong to me. Although still mentally too strong to fall for the Jedi mind trick, nothing was going as I had wanted it to.

A year later although I’m still burdened with quite a bit of weight at least it’s on the outside for the most part.
This is my first sub-200lb pic in about 20 years. Still got a way to go but 30lbs down from April 2021.

Still got quite a few more hurdles to climb in order to get back on course but at least I’ll be a little lighter climbing over them 🙂
