Join the Arts Council and Town Green Special Services District as we unveil the newest addition to Audubon Street! We partnered with the talented JAHMANE who created a beautiful mural inspired by the rich history of the quilters of Gee's Bend. Artists, creatives, and quilters please join us in celebration on August 29th from 3pm-4:30pm where we will convene outside of the Arts Council.

We're getting our kids at Life Haven ready for the new school year! Backpacks are just the beginning—shoes, clothes, and snacks are also essential. The Connecticut Arts Hero Award honors and celebrates Connecticut residents who are doing inspiring things in, for, or through the arts in Connecticut at the Connecticut Arts Awards. An Arts Hero is a member of the CT arts community who is championing creativity in their community.

They are often an unsung hero who is behind the scenes or in the trenches of the work of ensuring that the arts are accessible and appreciated. They are committed to seeing the arts thrive in CT. This award recognizes that the people around them notice and value their contributions. If you know a special someone who has contributed significantly to the arts in Connecticut, please take a moment to nominate this individual. Note: Arts Heroes are not awarded posthumously.

NHFPL has partnered with Liberty Community Services to make Social Workers available for assistance with a variety of concerns. Liberty Community Services now offers help at the Stetson Branch! Service hours and days have been updated for the Fair Haven and Wilson Branches.

There are no changes to the Ives Main Library LCS hours! They will remain 10 am-4:30 pm Monday-Friday at Ives with Amber.
