The Will County Saddle 4-H Club did absolutely amazing at the Will County 4-H project fair. They qualified for state with their group International project about Italy. We also had a lot of Individual State Fair Delegates and Alternates. Chloe M. qualified for state with animal science and visual arts, Chloe H. qualified for Heritage Arts, Vivian qualified for animal science, Jasper qualified for animal science, Maddox was an alternate for animal science, Lily was an alternate for visual arts, Sophia received blue awards for her animal science and Easton received blue awards for his collections project. This group also took 4th place at the 4-H Ag Olympics at the fair. They dominated the relay race, ear of corn toss, and the hay bale stack. These kids worked so hard all year and it definitely showed.

We love seeing people enjoying the 18 acres of land we have at Francis Field! However, we need to remind our community that Francis Field is private property and for use only by those who have a payment contract with us. We, unfortunately, cannot be used for picnic lunches, as a dog park, for children to play or as a general meeting place.
Trespassing signs and security cameras have been posted at the property due to continued damage at the field, and violators will be reported to the Will County Sheriff’s Department for prosecution.
Please visit our website for information about legally renting the property.
We are thrilled to have spent so many years providing the children of New Lenox with a place for organized recreation, and we appreciate your help in ensuring we are able to continue doing that for many more years to come.

Our Spring Tack Sale is this weekend!
There are still a few tables left. If you are interested please contact Lynn.
The Francis Field Equine Association hosted a spring clean up day at the field yesterday and the results are phenomenal!
None of this would have been possible without the help of so many volunteers.
Thank you to:
•Bakerhill Stables, Impulsion Equestrian Center and Will County Saddle Club for fixing and painting all jump poles and standards. They look brand new!
•Umbrella Property Services for bringing a crew and equipment out and Vogel Landscaping for their huge landscaping help. Thanks to Vicky Vogel for providing fuel for our volunteers and making delicious sloppy joes!
•FFYF board member and President of the FF Equine Association, Brittany’s parents, Ed and Michele, for helping all day. Ed ran his bobcat for repairs to the driveways and parking areas. And her father -in-law, Chuck, for also lending a helping hand.
•Lynn Richardson and Ashtyn and Millie Zigtema and to the Kaiser family for all of their help. Along with members of The Palos Hills Horseman’s Association, Will County Trail Riders, Equine Association of Francis Field and Francis Field Youth Foundation members who came out to help.
•Chad Barger (athletic director) and Jason Scalia (equipment manager) from NLYFA for helping out all day. Chad and Jason are also FFYF board members!
•The crew from CR ranch for helping all day
We would like to extend a special thank you to Roy Erikson Outdoor Maintenance for being a huge supporter of the Francis Field. Roy brought equipment and a crew out to do major landscaping and repairs. He also donated the use of two large dumpsters.
It would not have been such a productive day without each and every person that participated in cleaning up the field. We are grateful for all of the support.
Warmest thoughts to you and your family on this holiday. Happy Easter from the Francis Field Youth Foundation.
