Sure, you can celebrate Cinco de Mayo, where the Mexican army beat the French army during the Battle of Puebla. That's like celebrating a Tuesday. I'm not saying that the French don't have their share of military victories, just that most countries don't have drinking holidays to celebrate defeating them.

I prefer to celebrate the ascent to the throne of the Great Kublai Khan of the Mongolian Empire. I bet the line is shorter at Pei Wei today. If that's not your style, it's also Adele's and Chris Brown's Birthday. So go set fire to the rain or something, and if you can't, don't beat yourself up about it.

Alternatively, go to a grocery store and buy 5 jars of Mayo and scream "HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO" at the cashier and see what happens.
