Exciting news! We are a 2024 Sports 4 Life grant recipient! The Sports 4 Life program is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, and we could not be more excited to be a part of this special class of grantees.

We are so honored to receive $10,000 in funding, as this generous donation will allow us to continue developing our newly created golf program at St. Mary's Academy, as well as our LPGA USGA Girls' Golf program. We are extremely grateful for the support of the Women's Sports Foundation - this opportunity is vital to continuing our mission in diversifying the game of golf.

This national initiative – co-founded by WSF and in 2014 and supported by – utilizes the power of sport to build a solid foundation for Black/African-American, Hispanic and Native American girls to thrive on and off the field of play. Stay tuned to see what will come of this beautiful partnership.

Kaylie and Teagan, seasoned participants of First Tee, have earned a remarkable opportunity: to compete in the prestigious PURE Insurance Championship at Pebble Beach Golf Links. This event, part of the PGA TOUR Champions, celebrates their dedication to golf and their community impact through First Tee’s values. Teaming up with PGA TOUR Champions players, they'll showcase not only their golf skills but also their character strengths. Don’t miss their journey, airing live on Golf Channel from September 17-22! 🏌️‍♀️⛳️

We have been following Teagan all week as she took on the 2024 First Tee National Championship! She finished tied for 15th, we are so proud of all of her hard work! Way to go!!

What a weekend! Huge thanks goes out to for having some of our golfers out at the annual Blue Angel Classic💙!

We had such a great time and even brought home some metal🙌 Lily and Abby placed 2nd and 3rd, respectively, in their age groups, way to go!! 🥈🥉It wasn’t just strictly business, however. We had plenty of playtime as well; beach trips, goofy golf, and eating out at McGuire’s Irish Pub.

We are so proud of everyone’s hard work and dedication, can’t wait see our Gulf Coast friends again next year!

Our very own Northshore Operations Manager Michael Arnaud will being playing in the Korn Ferry Tour's BMW Championship this week in Greenville, SC. The countdown begins! Just about 100 days to the annual First Tee Golf Classic Presented by Walmart, and this year, it's bigger and better than ever. Mark your calendars for September 10th and get ready to tee off at Bayou Oaks in City Park. Not only is it a day full of good ole golfing; the course will be jam-packed with good food, refreshing drinks, and awesome raffle prizes. Drum roll, please! The official count is in - First Tee Fest raised over $46K! A HUGE thanks to our partners for this event, , our venue host , and we can’t forget to recognize two special people who made this the Number One night to remember: our headliners, Micah Brown and Micah Pueschel! This fundraiser would not have been possible without you all not to mention our guests who came to support us. We also would like to shout out our local acts Kinfolk Brass Band and HollyRock, for putting on great sets.

The funds raised from First Tee Fest will directly benefit our participants and help support operations of the First Tee Program, allowing us to reach a wider audience and touch more lives. Our inaugural First Tee Fest was a huge success and we are already looking forward to doing this again next year!

Exciting news - Gemma Dryburgh is back! Because once just wasn't enough, we will be teaming up with her again for a special girls clinic on June 9th from 4-5pm at English Turn golf course.

Her reputation surely precedes her as Gemma is a LPGA Tour star, Green Wave golf alum, and more recently a member of Europe's winning team in the 2023 Solheim Cup. She will be sharing her story, some swing tips and much more!
