Are you thinking of being a soft wave girly on your wedding day? 🤔

Here’s three tips for you:
- extensions are a must! This helps hold the wave pattern longer and gives your hair a fuller look.
- are you getting married at a time with high humidity? If so, this look will not last all night long. It’s best to wear this for your ceremony and switch it up to an updo or party pony for the reception.
- does your hair hold a curl? If your hair doesn’t hold some type of curl, it will not hold a wave the way you see it in all the Pinterest photos.

I must say, these photos are breathtaking! was such a sweet sweet soul to work with and I am so glad to have met her!

I always had a love hate relationship with Glam Waves…

Sometimes I’m like “hell yeah!” And more times then that I’m like ew no…. LOL i know I’m not the only one who thinks this.

But this, I LOVE. This is the “tightest” glam waves I ever did… and it took me TWO whole hours!

All I’m trying to say is that styling takes TIME… it’s not a few little curls brushed out.

TWO things to know before you choose your half up style 👇🏼

1. Hair color will affect your look! ie. braids and texture will appear better on lighter hair. If you have dark hair, ask your hairstylist for some dimension… a shade or two can make the biggest difference!

2. EXTENSIONS! EXTENSIONS! EXTENSIONS! Unless you have extremely full or thick hair, the “down part” of your half up will look stringy, thin, and not like the styles you saved on Pinterest.

Wedding Tip of the Day:

Send your bridesmaids, moms, aunts, or anyone getting ready with you the wedding schedule in email AND text!

This way they won’t keep asking you the times for everything AND they have it in TWO locations!

BONUS TIP: if you REALLY want to, print out the schedule for each person and give to them when they arrive!

THREE WEDDING TIPS FROM A BRIDAL HAIRSTYLIST ❤️👇🏼

1. Make sure your hotel has ample room for EVERYONE and EVERYTHING. This includes anyone getting their hair done, plus your MUA and hairstylist, and an additional place to set food/ drinks up.

2. Please please please make sure there is good lighting! Hotel rooms have a lot of yellow dim lighting, which does nothing for MUA and hairstylist to help see what they are creating. Look for a hotel or air bnb with lots of windows and natural light!

3. Don’t try to squeeze 8 services into a 3 hour window…. It’s just chaos and we want to make sure you look and feel your best!
