When we say partnerships matter, we mean it. Terri recently joined several NeighborWorks America peers on a panel at the NeighborWorks Real Estate Convening. They spoke about the importance of partnerships.
“Moving the Work Forward Through Partnership”
Strong and mutually beneficial partnerships are cornerstones in much of the successful development work that is executed across the network. When entering partnerships, it is critical to ensure an aligned vision and desired outcomes. The session highlighted the experiences and learnings of several network organizations that have built successful partnerships, including faith-based, nonprofit, and for-profit. Panelists included Greta Harris Better Housing Coalition, Don Gilmore Community Housing Development Corporation - CHDC, Capri Roth EBALDC, and our very own Terri North, Providence Community Housing.

It was a busy week last week for our leadership on Capitol Hill. This week it's back to doing the boots-on-the-ground work for residents of the Greater New Orleans area.
Yesterday was a busy day for our dedicated leader. As part of the National NeighborWorks Association, Terri joined forces in DC with our friend and neighbor from Baton Rouge, Kismet Gray - leader of Mid City Redevelopment, to advocate on Capitol Hill for affordable housing initiatives for Louisianians.
Terri was the guest speaker today at New Orleans CREW's monthly membership program. It was an engaging session on Affordable Housing and Providence's work in the GNO area.
