Metropolitan Youth Cancelled Event
For Saturday July 13, 2019

Due to the pending inclement weather approaching the New Orleans Area. Metropolitan Youth Foundation and USA Football’s First Down Program is postponed until Saturday August 3, 2019 at St. Mary’s Academy for 11am - 2pm. Please dress appropriately shorts, T-shirt, tennis shoes or cleats, and a towel. Parents are very welcome to participate as well!

On Saturday July 13, 2019 at 11am - 2pm, location at St. Mary’s Academy High School. Metropolitan Youth Foundation in partnership with USA Football for the first time in Louisiana will present it’s newest initiative The First Down Program!! The program is designed for novices ages 3-17 but everyone is invited even our parents are welcome to participate! It’s a fun way to get introduced to the sport of Football! Greetings!
My name is Tamika Butler-Boutte, the Co-Owner of iNfinity Cheer & Dance Co. a 501(3)c organization.
We are a competitive cheer & dance company located in New Orleans East that travels to all of our competitions, most of which are out of state. Along with travel expenses we also purchase uniforms for cheer and dance competitions, which is more than one uniform per competition (as dance has several different categories). Cheer uniforms for us are very expensive, as they all have to be regulated by the American Cheer Association in order for us to not be disqualified.
We have 23 students currently enrolled and have so many more that are interested in attending but can't afford the necessities. Currently we have about 12 dance competitions lined up including an invited competition from the Coach of the hit TV show "Bring It" in August.
In addition to competitions we have marched in parades, done performances for fashion shows, holiday parties, festivals, grand openings, company anniversaries & family days, church anniversaries, video shoots and upcoming music artist back ground dancing.
We are ALWAYS looking for sponsorships and/or donations to assist with the cost to keep the kids active, healthy and occupied. We pride ourselves on teaching them about "Giving Back" when we don't necessarily have much to give, anti-bullying, book smarts (getting to and thru college; as school ALWAYS comes first), lasting friendships, teamwork, health and inner beauty.

Eddie “ET” Tillman is a very well mannered young man that I had the absolute pleasure of knowing and coached since he was 8 years old. ET’s parents, siblings, and Grandparents created the perfect environment for E and his siblings to thrive! He plays very hard on the field, Track, Basketball Court, Weightlifting and works even harder in the classroom ALWAYS on the Honor Roll! ET is now Sophomore at Florida A & M University on scholarship. ET had several choices of schools offering Academic or Athletic Scholarships! My message to all student athletes be great in the classroom and strong in Sport! Give yourselves the opportunities that will result in great options for yourself! Graduate with a Degree without Debt!! Be like Eddie “ET” Tillman truly Uncommon!!
