So, Chef Doucette did a thing….

is a historical landmark located in uptown New Orleans. The hotel, bar and lounge, which had been closed for many years, has undergone an amazing restoration process and is due to open soon. Our own Chef Doucette is the Consulting Executive Chef for the restaurant!

This is a very special and exciting project for Chef and her nephew as mentioned in the article by . Chef will have a heavy influence on the menu, kitchen, and overall food experience, which will look to meld some of the dishes from the Dew Drop’s past with newer traditions.

Leading her kitchen will be New Orleans’ own Chef John Cannon. Between the two of these phenomenal culinary artists, we are very excited to see the combination of dishes they create!

You all keep an eye out for opening dates and events. If we don’t see you at the cafe, we will see you at the Dew Drop Inn!

Ok. Eat a lot of healthy. Enjoy a bit of indulgence. It’s called the best of both worlds!

We will closed today in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthdate as we remember the achievements of this man’s life and legacy.
