Thank you to the New Orleans Council of Aging and the Kinship Senior Center for a wonderful time and excellent cooking demo! I really enjoyed this class, once the demo started it was complete silence and all eyes on me! We also changed up the entree this week and everyone absolutely loved it!!!

The granted me the opportunity to be a guest speaker, to cook and also discuss healthy swaps while conducting a live cooking demo. It truly makes my heart smile to be able to be an advocate for healthy eating and watching everyone’s faces light up after tasting something healthy but absolutely delicious 😊 I’m definitely looking forward to the rest of the groups to come and spreading more awareness about healthy ingredient swaps and setting smart goals!!

Tomorrow, July 3, 2024 we at (weather permitting) from 5p - 10p (OR Sold Out). Big Sam-Burgers on deck and we’re introducing our Jerk Baby Jerk Chicken Tacos w/ Homemade Pineapple Salsa oh and did I mention our Jerk Seasoning is made in-house!!! Pull-up tomorrow and conquer your cravings!
Our Project Punch is a magical brew bursting with flavor and sweet goodness!! It’s a non-alcoholic fruity beverage that combines a blend of tropical fruit flavors. It has a very refreshing taste where it can be enjoyed on its own or used as a base for mixed drinks and cocktails.🤫 Its versatility and crowd-pleasing flavor makes it a staple drink for us.
Another great session in the books!!! We learned, we laughed, we had a live cookin demo then feasted on heart healthy food!! The has presented me with a great opportunity to give back from a healthy perspective and I truly appreciate it!! 😊 This is the 2nd of many live sessions we’ll have over the course of the summer and I look forward to see the rest of the the New Orleans Council on Aging locations and their clients!! The focus will remain: Cholesterol, Blood Sugar and Healthy Ingredient Swaps. The recipes we utilize are provided by the American Heart Association and it consist of NO salt so you know I have to find my way to sneak flavor all up and through there 😂 The menu that many requested 2nds of was:
