Limited Edition Petite Josephine. This darling underbust corset is made in a lovely Victorian rose cherry blossom silk brocade fabric front, back, bone casings, and trim. Sides are a cream sheer mesh, making it light weight for summer.
She's on the site and currently in stock in a size 26", all other sizes will be made to order as this brode is limited stock. We have enough of this fabric to make approximately 5 more.

We've been doing some post Mardi Gras spring cleaning in the shop and have been adding some sample corsets to our site. And they are discounted 30%.

A tale of two pinks. Our supplier sent us the wrong pink mesh, the dusty pink version on left, which was a happy accident because we already had the perfect satin to match. So we now have 2 variations of pink satin and pink mesh to offer.

Bastile Day in New Orleans was sweltering, but that doesn't stop a party queen from getting out and enjoying the festivities.

My final costume for Mardi Gras I'm wearing an Alexandra overbust in red and gold embroidered chiffon over black silk taffeta, black silk taffeta sides and deep red silk taffeta trim. Short cage skirt with black velvet pleated trim on hoops and large red roses. Feather trimmed lace shrug and feather and beaded appliqué hairpiece. All by me.

Carnival is in full swing here in New Orleans. Got to walk in 2 parades this weekend. Friday night I was a pirate with the in , Saturday night I donned a big 18th c style wig to walk with the in parade.
We're going into the final week, and I've got one more parade with the Sirens Friday night in then enjoying the rest of carnival season attending parades, eating king cake, and getting little rest. I'll be back to work full time after Ash Wednesday.

Happy 12th night! It's officially Mardi Gras season! Looking forward to all the parades and seeing the new house floats, eating king cake, and all the costuming and sparkle.
