The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of properties including budget control and maintenance requests.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the general operation of the community (HOA, COA)
Answering homeowner / community questions via phone and email
Acts as liaison between the board of directors and the community
Ensuring implementation of policies and guidelines within the community; assisting with the enforcement of covenants, conditions, and restrictions (CC&Rs)
Assisting with collections; tracking accurate fee assessments
Work with Association's Counsel, as needed
Maintaining common and shared amenities; managing lawn care, pool cleaning, and other various tasks completed by vendors around the community
Maintaining community site spaces, including coordinating routine maintenance checks
Disaster / Hurricane recovery activities and management
Approving the utility bills and invoices for the HOA (through payables system)
Prepare notices, ballots, and meeting packets for all association and board meetings.
Attend quarterly board meetings, annual member meetings at the invitation of the HOA/COA Board
Provide recommendations to the Board as needed
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget
Manages the decision making process effectively and works with both short and long-range objectives
Qualifications
Knowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc) at a proficient level
Strong time management skills
Must be willing and able to respond to an association emergency
Comprehensive knowledge of management practices, accounting procedures, personnel practices, contract management, facilities an association maintenance, association communications, and risk management.
Detail-oriented and EXCELLENT communication skills
Microsoft Office Proficiency
Valid driver's license, current liability insurance, and reliable transportation
