He is a licensed Arborist, involved with ISA, has a TRAQ certification, & has a Masters in Agronomy. He specializes in Tree Preservation & has a love of all things nature!

Ellis Eaton is our Baton Rouge Operations Manager. He runs a tight ship keeping all of our in check! Ellis has been an important part of our team for many years now. He is a licensed Louisiana & Utility Arborist and is CRSP & TRAQ certified.

Introducing Joey Fallas, our very own since 2012. Before then, he was soaking up knowledge under the wings of the best in the biz - Clutch, Julio & Al. Back in 2012, he decided to take his LA Arborist License & ISA, aced those tests, and dove headfirst into the world of sales under the guidance of our experienced salesman- like Lance, Randy, Lee & JB!

For over 12 years, Joey’s been workin’ hard as a salesman, but his heart truly lies in working with his residential customers. Every day brings something new, and he loves nothing more than meeting his customers and keeping their properties lookin’ top-notch. Pruning’s his specialty, and he firmly believes that everyone needs a “good lookin’ tree in their backyard.”

His customers love him for his honesty, sharp eye for detail, and never missing a beat. He gets it - keeping your property in tip-top shape means more than just having a perfect back yard to look at. It is a place to enjoy some quality time with the people that mean the most! And speaking of family, Joey’s the proud dad of two phenomenal little girls, Elizabeth & Olivia, who’re all about playin’ outdoors in their play house, sandbox, and slides all surrounded by beautiful pine trees.

But Bayou Tree Service isn’t just a workplace for Joey, it’s family. He enjoys being able to catch up with all of his favorite coworkers after the morning meeting, having lunch with everyone, or taking a nice putt on the putting green to get the brain going before answering emails and sending proposals.

We’re looking for a Tree Health Care Technician!

Qualifications:
·       Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, or a related Plant Science, Landscape Management, or a related field or prior experience working in the tree care or landscaping industry is preferred.
·       Understanding of species-specific insects, disease, and cultural tending practices.
·       Ability to perform manual labor and work in all weather conditions and seasons.
·       Valid driver’s license and clean record
·       Pass a physical and drug test

Responsibilities:
Assists the Tree Health Care department in delivering tree health care treatments, while providing the highest performance in safety, quality, efficiency, and customer service
·       Obtain a Pesticide Applicator License in a timely manner
·       Perform all functions of the integrated pest management program, including administration, scheduling, inspections, sampling, treatments, inventories, equipment maintenances, record keeping, report writing, project data collection, and customer relations
·       Monitor, diagnose, and treat insect, disease, and culture conditions of trees
·       Effectively operate, calibrate, and maintain equipment
·       Obtain LA Arborist License in a timely manner
·       Execute Buck Moth Caterpillar spray program for 3-4 weeks in early Spring
