Every event I had, you were there. Working, serving, doing whatever I asked you to do. During my breakdowns and attitude trips you reminded me that everything was going to work out. I’m going to miss my MUA, bartender, hype man, hairstylist, and friend. I’ll make sure the DJ plays a few extra Blues songs for you.

In November, 2020, I attended a planning meeting for the year 2021. I had an idea to have a networking event called Sister, Sister in April. I wrote out a few event details and chose a date in December.

January 30, 2021 my sister died and completely shattered my whole heart. Today, I am planning a launch event for a scholarship in her honor, on that very date. Random fact: April 24th is her birthday. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate your 25th than this. I love you and words can’t express how much I miss you. Your legacy will live on forever. I’m making sure of it.
