Grown by producer Luis Anibal Calderon in the Huila region of Colombia. This coffee is a stunning example of varietal and processing methods coming together to produce a wonderful cup of coffee.

Luis Anibal specializes in exotic varietals and innovative processing techniques at his farm Villa Betulia in Huila. This is coffee of the highest quality.

We have been lucky enough to showcase a number of amazing coffees and varietals lately; Sidra, Pink Bourbon, Geisha, Wush Wush, Papayo, and now Yellow Pacamara.

OJI UPDATE: We are now brewing our Colombian Sidra on OJI.

OJI is a Japaneese-style cold brew method that drips water over the grinds for up to 18 hours. This method is one of our Favorites and produces very distinct flavors notes.

This year we are working with local contemporary artist Demond Melancon, who is the Big Chief of the Young Seminole Hunters tribe. His beadwork is amazingly intricate and his work has been exhibited in museums across London, Miami, Brooklyn, and New Orleans. He is a very talented artist and has chosen Feed the Second Line as the non-profit that we will be donating to.

As in years past, we will be donating $1 of every bag sold to help support a local non-profit organization.

Carnival is here and we are ready to celebrate it with the one and only Big Chief Blend! This year blend is a mixture of our favorite 3 origins; Colombia, Brazil and Ethiopia. These coffees blend together beautifully to yield bright notes of Juicy Berry, Almond and Dried Hisbiscus.
