We won 1st place in the Solo Team Division at The National Jitterbug Championships in Los Angeles over Labor Day Weekend! And we completely forgot to tell, y'all!
We'll post the video soon, but here's the group right after we got off the stage. Little did we know we'd just beat 14 other teams from across the globe. Repping New Orleans right, y'all! ♡

The NOLA Jitterbugs teach swing dancing (specifically Lindy Hop ) from an evolutional, historical, & a musically intuitive perspective.
Beginners learn 8 count rhythms first, not 6, we use pre-swing era/ragtime dances as exercises in leading and following and to discuss the history of the music and dance, and we always have LIVE MUSIC in the last class of the series.
