Bryanna and Steven had the sweetest intimate elopement in Pirate's Alley, surrounded by their closest loved ones before dancing their way down Royal Street. It was their day, their way!

Part of my workflow during a wedding day is capturing the feelings because as time goes on, we kind of forget the details of the day. The small but significant moments that tell a story of how you felt and then getting to relive those years later.

I know these two probably had the best view of the eclipse yesterday! We got the temu version down here. It's been over a month since they said 'I do' at the Tree of Life. I loved exploring their bed and breakfast uptown and capturing some sweet memories 🦋

My super sweet French Canadian couple were inundated with caterpillars during their ceremony. I didn't realize how much, until I was editing 😅 Just before exchanging rings, I noticed two hitchhikers on Cynthia (bride) and had to stop everything to get them off. I NEVER would stop a ceremony, but lives were at stake 😆 tiny lives.

It was all fun, light, and laughter with Freddy and Cynthia!

If you ever wondered, I also work with families and kids! Weddings and elopements are a huge portion of what I share, but I thought I'd break up the routine some and share a few photos of my longest returning clients. Every year, for 7 years, I have captured their beautiful family around the holidays. So grateful for them and thankful they've stuck with me for a long time! I love watching everybody grow up ✨️

For me, November of this year is totally booked. I'm so excited! I still have some weekends in October and December open.

It's never too early to assemble your wedding league!! I know some awesome planners, officiants, and florists - so, even if you just start with one, you won't be led blindly.

What's it like to just go with the flow?

Weddings and elopements can be super stressful, but they don't have to be! Throw out the rule books and play it your way ❤️

The Gilmour in Baton Rouge was more pretty in person than I anticipated. I can finally share Ashley's bridal session! The setting was perfect for her.
