Are you working on a project but could use a little sew-cialization? Do you want to get out of your house and sew with others? Do you need to use a larger table for a bulky project? Sewing Lab is for you!​​​​​​​​​
SEWING LAB is held (typically) on the first Saturday of each month. Come and enjoy our sewing machines and workspace. Work with other talented sewists and enjoy their company. Get advice or assistance from folks at Chateau Sew or other attendees! All knowledge is welcome.

Join us for a four week adult beginner sewing class this spring! Class size is limited to five people, so you will be sure to get plenty of individualized attention. During our time together, you will learn to use a sewing machine and basic sewing tools, how to read a simple pattern, and beginner sewing techniques. We will make four different items together: a napkin, pillowcase, market bag, and lined zippered bag. After the class, you will have the skills and confidence to move on to more advanced projects. Time: Tuesdays, 5:00-6:30 p.m., 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, & 10/29.

Sat. Oct. 5th - Sewing Lab - 10am to 12pm
All levels of Sewists are welcome. For a nominal fee, use our machines and sewing space. Sew and socialize.

Tues. Oct. 8th, 15th, 22th, 29th - Beginner Sewing Series - 5 to 6:30pm
For Confident Beginners to learn their craft and grow skills. This four-week class meets once a week for 6 hours of instruction and you can create four beginner projects.

Sat. Oct. 12th - Quilt Binding 101
Have a quilt and need to know how to finish it? Join Jill & Joelle as they teach ways to bind a quilt top.

Thu. Oct. 17th - Sewing 101 : Easy Pillow Cover
For the very beginner sewist, this Sewing 101 course, we create simple pillow covers.

Wed. & Thu. Oct. 24rd & 24th - Jaimie Pj Bottoms
The Jaimie pattern from Tilly & the Buttons is a great class for those wanting to tackle their first garment.

I’m sure this comes as no surprise, but Chateau Sew will be closed tomorrow, September 11th due to Hurricane Francine. If you had a lesson, you should have been contacted to reschedule.
