Our final day at La Broderie Bayou was filled with excitement as we explored various needlework techniques, including French knots, Colonial knots, and handmade buttonholes. Following a hearty lunch of roast, potato soup, and salad, we concluded the day with a showcase of garments made by Wendy.
We look forward to seeing everyone at La Broderie Bayou in 2025!
Day four at La Broderie Bayou was filled with bullion rose embroidery and a satisfying lunch of chicken fricassee, yellow rice, and a Creole tomato salad.
Day three at La Broderie Bayou 2024 was a thrilling experience, as we explored the buttonhole scallop stitch on organdy and tear drop eyelets. Our lunch was a delectable cob salad with chicken, and the evening presentation of 'Little French Dresses' was nothing short of spectacular, complemented by a delicious jambalaya dinner!
Day two of our La Broderie Bayou adventure was full of fun! We kicked off the day with granitos and eyelets , followed by a lunch that looked like as good as it tasted - spinach salad topped with spaghetti bolognese. We can't wait to see what's in store for us on day three!
We had such a great start to La Broderie Bayou 2024! Today we started by tracing off our pattern and learning the Buttonhole Scallop Stitch. And we took a lunch break with New Orleans famous red beans and rice! Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
