With New Oxford's 65th Annual Market on the Square coming up this Saturday, August 14, we wanted make an FAQ post to answer some of your most asked questions!

⭐ What time is the event? ⏰
The event will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

⭐ Is it free to attend this event?
Yes, this is a non-ticketed free event.

⭐ Where can I park? 🚗
There will be parking available approximately one to two blocks out from the event in all directions along the streets. Additionally, First Evangelical Lutheran Church at 200 Lincoln Way East typically has their parking lot open for attendees for a donation. Parking is also available at New Oxford Elementary School at 116 N. Berlin Ave.

⭐ Is there an ATM available? 🏧
Yes, there will be an ATM available for attendees at the Chamber office located at 27 Center Square between Martin's New Oxford Hardware, Inc. and Dentistry on the Square PA.

⭐ Are there restrooms available? 🚽🧻
Yes, there will be port-a-potties available throughout the event, including ADA accessible port-a-potties. Please see the map below for port-a-potty locations. Maps are also available at the Chamber office.

⭐ Where are the vendors located?
-Antique, vintage, collectible, primitive and upcycled goods vendors will be located around the square, on Carlisle St., on Lincoln Way East (south side) and Lincoln Way West (north side).
-Craft vendors and artisans will be located in the grass in the circle.
-Food trucks will be located on Hanover St.
-Farmers market vendors will be located on South Peters St.

⭐ Where can I pick up a free tote bag?
Event tote bags can be picked up at the Chamber office while supplies last.

⭐ Is there anything new this year? 🍅🎸
Yes, there will be a farmers market on S. Peters St. and live music on Hanover St. There will also be a number of first-time vendors at the event!

⭐ When and where will the entertainment be located? Who is performing? 🎵
Live music will be on Hanover St. from approximately 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Grab a bite to eat at the Hanover St. food court and watch live performances by: Faith Noel, Eli August, The RimShotz, Russian Collusion and Craig Rosendale.

⭐ Is there seating available?
Yes, there will be seating available on Hanover St. at the food court and entertainment stage. There will also be some seating on S. Peters St. at the farmers market. Please respect our local residents by refraining from sitting on porches.

⭐ What other shops are in town?
If you are interested in shopping for additional antiques, you can pick check out our antique guide here: https://www.newoxford.org/visiting-new-oxford.html or pick up a physical copy at the Chamber office during the event. In addition to antique shops, there are also a number of other retail and dining establishments located within a few blocks of the square. Shop Small brochures with more information on these businesses can be picked up at the Chamber office.

⭐ Who can I talk to if I have a question?
Please feel free to ask one of our volunteers or stop by the Chamber office. They will be wearing blue "Volunteer" shirts during the event.

⭐ Is this a permanent date change?
No, this is not a permanent date change. We will be returning to our normal date - the third Saturday in June - in 2022.

⭐ The vendor layout seems different this year. Why is that?
We are in the process of reconfiguring the layout and structure of this event. There will not be a vendor at every number on the map below. We appreciate your understanding during this transitional year. Additionally, although the configuration is different this year, there has been an increase in the number of vendors from 2019. With the return of our regular vendors as well as many new vendors, we are looking forward to an expanded event in 2022!
⭐ What happens if it rains? 🌧
This is a rain or shine event. Unless the weather is severe, the event will go on as scheduled. Any updates will be posted to Facebook.

⭐ What food options are there? 🍔🍕
There are a variety of food options available in the food court on Hanover St. Additionally, the following non-profits will be set up at or near the event:
- Boy Scouts - Carlisle St. (NEW LOCATION)
- Cub Scouts - Circle
- New Oxford Lions Club - Circle
- St. John's UCC - Circle
- First Evangelical Lutheran Church - 200 Lincoln Way East
