A before and after of myself. It's been a 10 year fitness journey that I have never let go of. I am naturally built as an "ectomorph" which is someone who has little muscle development, a very frail body. Ectomorphs have a lot of difficulty gaining muscle.

When looking to "get in shape" focus on two things:

Raising your lean body mass = Gaining muscle
Lowering body fat% = Losing unwanted weight

People exercise wrong, and eat wrong... and end up losing muscle and keeping the fat. The number on the scale is not as important as the body fat % number.... get a scale that shows you your body fat %

Leg Day Series from yesterday, because the reps were longer and lighter than usual, I did them slower and focused really closely on the muscle to feel it swell up with blood.

3x20 squats ass to grass on smith machine 50lbs, 70lbs, 90lbs

3x20 Reverse Lunges each leg - 40lbs, 50lbs, 50lbs

4x"21's" leg extension - 40lbs, 45lbs, 50lbs, 60lbs

3x20 Dead lift - 40lbs, 50lbs, 60lbs

3x20 Glute Kickback on leg curl machine - 60lbs, 70lbs, 70lbs

3x20 single leg Abductor on cables with ankle strap - 20lbs, 30lbs, 40lbs

3x20 single leg adductor on cables with ankle strap - 20lbs, 30lbs, 40lbs

3x20 calf presses - 150lbs, 160lbs, 170lbs

Final knockout with 20 minutes of stair-master on level 11

A work in progress but so proud of my client for all the hard work she has put in, with being strict on her diet, and religiously doing all the homework I give her. So nice to see 3 months into training a clear evidence of quad development.

I started using this protein and I absolutely love it! The taste, the protein blend, and in just a couple of days I have been feeling a difference in my body. When I'm hungry and have no time to cook in between meals I'll just make a bomb shake and I'll throw in:

1 scoop of Modern Protein Vanilla Flavor
1 1/2 cups of Almond Milk
1 banana
1 teaspoon of peanut butter
1 handful of Kale
1 scoop of dry Oatmeal
And a touch of Cinnamon

And I am READY TO GO

Which one are you? I'm a Wildebeest LOL...I don't lift extremely heavy compared to other guys at the gym, but I get just as good of a workout with what I do. FORM and DIET is EVERYTHING.

Leg day today was on fire πŸ”₯. Try these. 3x15 each leg with a challenging amount of weight, I used 60lbs. Be careful with the knees do not stack too much weight and don't push from the floor just touch.
