Reels Play Bonus Program Requirements
Creators can earn bonuses from Facebook for creating and sharing eligible reels on Facebook that meet the program requirements. Once you start a bonus opportunity and agree to the Terms and Conditions, you can start to create reels that earn bonuses and track your progress.
* Reels bonuses allow you to earn bonuses by achieving certain performance targets on new and old reels once you start a bonus opportunity.
* You can increase your earnings by creating reels that engage more viewers and get more interactions as defined by each bonus opportunity.
* Each Reels bonus opportunity lasts for a set number of days after you start. You can see how long bonus opportunities last in the Bonus tab on your phone or in Creator Studio > Monetization > Bonuses.
Individual Reel Bonus Requirements
For your Page’s reels to count towards an in progress bonus opportunity:
* Your Page must follow our Partner Monetization Policies.
* Your reel cannot be claimed by a rights holder.
* Your reel cannot be crossposted from Instagram. Instagram Reels shown as recommended content on Facebook are not eligible for this program. Learn how to post reels on Facebook here.
* Your reel cannot be watermarked by a third-party social media site.

About Reels Play Bonus Program Rules | Facebook Business Help Center Bonuses are opportunities for you to earn money directly from Instagram. Learn more about eligibility requirements.

To receive a Reels Play Bonus payout from Instagram, you will be required to comply with the below Program Rules (as referenced in the Instagram Creator Incentive Terms), in addition to the Program Rules applicable to Bonuses on Instagram. By proceeding with this program, you agree to these Program Rules.

Note: The Reels Play bonus program is currently not available in all languages. We are working to support additional languages in the future.

Rules and Eligibility
By participating in the Reels Play Bonus program, you'll earn money directly from Instagram. You’ll earn the bonus as follows:

Once the Reels Play Bonus becomes available to you, you’ll need to get started before the eligibility expires. The date at which it expires can be identified when you access the bonus in the Instagram App.
Once you Get Started, you have 30 days to earn the bonus.
During that period, you may choose as many reels as you’d like to count towards your bonus earnings.
You’ll earn money based on the performance of your reel. The amount you earn per play may not always stay constant. For example, you may earn more per play as you’re getting started and less over time.
The requirements and the details of each bonus program may vary by participant. You’ll be able find this information when you onboard to each bonus program.
Note: If you permanently delete a reel, you may not get credit for the plays that reel received.
You can select a reel to count toward your Reels Play Bonus as follows:
Select Reels Play Bonus from the Bonuses page before sharing your reel. If you forget, you can go back and make that selection for up to 24 hours.
The one exception to the 24-hour rule is on the last day of every month. Because we pay out earnings on a monthly basis, you need to apply a reel toward the Reels Play Bonus payout in the same month that you create the reel. The month-end deadline is 12am PT (regardless of your timezone). For example, if you create a reel at 10pm PT on July 31, you have until 12am PT on August 1 (i.e. 2 hours later) to apply the reel toward your Reels Play Bonus payout. This differs from any other day of the month, when you would have until 10pm on August 1.
Branded content is currently ineligible for Bonuses.
A reel is not eligible for the Reels Play bonus if any of the following is true:
Your reel cannot be claimed by a rights holder.
You can get up to 2 reel violations and then the 3rd strike will result in a 30 day cool down.
If you win an appeal, we will have monetizable plays from that win decision onwards. If the decision comes after the deal expires, we will not count those monetizable plays.
You can see your progress toward earning a Reels Play Bonus on the progress page, which is accessible in Bonuses Settings.
Note: It might take up to 24 hours to update your progress and/or earnings.
