DJs4CA is a global community unified by music and the pursuit of climate justice, and focused on commitment, community, connection and creativity. This event is an opportunity to celebrate through music with a live performance by The Earth and DJ sets from Clap, Whooligan, , Chuck, Bananas and . While simultaneously demanding that we pay attention to the urgency of this moment, with presentations from each partner organization that will inspire action and deeper connection.

This variegated fern is called the “Tiger Fern”! The unique variegation on it’s leaves give this plant beautiful contrast. A wonderfully different plant to add to your collection!

The Tiger Fern falls under the categorization of Nephrolepis, which is a genus encompassing about 30 different species of ferns! This type of fern species is also commonly referred to as the Boston Fern.

Music:

Carnivorous Pitcher plant, or Sarracenia, grows best outdoors on sunny patio or by a fountain. These plants thrive in boggy conditions, so its best to keep the pot in a dish of water. Our pitcher plant is thriving so hard its almost impossible to picture!

Check out the close up of the stems! Its super interested how pigmented the veins get when this plant is doing well. It also can help with insect problems, as small flying insects are attracted to this plant! After flying through the trumpet like structure of the stems, the bug is absorbed by the plant for nutrients. Nature is always surprising !

We cant get over this SUPER full ficus lyrata, more commonly known as the fiddle leaf fig! 😮

Ficus lyrata is native to West Africa, where it grows in the lowland tropical rainforest. They are also well known for their prominently veined and ridged leaves 🍃🌀 This plant will thrive in an environment with bright indirect sunlight.

So in love with this massive cissus discolor! She is THRIVING in this recent humidity and heat 🤩

The Cissus variety of plants need their potting substrate to stay moist, they do not like to try out. They will also try and climb/vine onto surrounding plants or onto other vines on the actual plant itself!

Draceana Reflexa

Also know as Song of India, this broadleaf evergreen is a perfect indoor plant because of its tall, architectural shape. This Dracaena can reach up to 6 feet in the right conditions.

Dracaena Reflexa needs indirect light for atleast 4 hours a day. Too much sun can be harmful and scorch the plant. This plant can survive long periods of drought so make sure you let the soil fully dry out between waterings. Message us for more info 🍃
