To know Aita is to know Charlotte (even when she was a blondie). She started as a part-time server over 5 years ago, quickly learning the ropes to jump in wherever — and whenever — we needed her to. As host, bartender, supervisor, and as our own trusty in-house food critic always giving us her most honest feedback. If there’s anyone who knows what the people really want, it’s Charlotte.

In an industry of fleeting connections, she has perfected the art of creating immutable bonds and relationships that last forever. Always doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. Always going above and beyond. Always making sure every guest, and person in her orbit, feels at home with her. She has made a home of Aita for so many— because to love Aita is to love Charlotte.

Today is National Toddy Day and we’re starting early with our twist on the classic, the TODDY ODDY ODDY — apple aperitif, apple jack brandy, amaro foro, lemon, and ginger 🍏 a completely New York spirit base, made from 100% New York-grown apples.

We will be open on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, serving our regular menu with very special additions! Reservations available through resy and walk-in’s always welcome. Both Aita & Mayflower will be closed on Christmas and New Year Day. Wishing you all happy holidays.

Our goal since day one has been to share with you a taste of our family’s traditions by way of delicious, comforting Italian food and warm service. Thank you all for letting us tell our stories through bowls of Strozzapreti and glasses of Lambrusco.

To our staff, neighbors (furry four-legged ones included 🐶), and friends near & far who turned into our dearest family: watching you grow with us has been our absolute joy. Cheers to 11 more years of spritzes, flaming cocktails at Mayflower, and brown-buttered Oxtail Ravioli. ❤️🤌🍝🍹🍾
